Christmas Gift Guide

With Christmas fast approaching it is time to head out to the shops to grab our Christmas goodies. I don't know if I'm the only one who struggles to think of what to get my friends and family but I do often find myself resulting to scrolling through Pinterest for inspiration. Here are some gift ideas to help you conjure up the perfect gifts.

Handmade Gifts

Pinterest is full of handmade gift ideas you could give this Christmas that will also keep you in budget. There are thousands of creative gifts just waiting to be discovered. A handmade, personal touch always makes a present feel more special and thoughtful.

1. Make Your Own Set

These gifts have been all over Pinterest this Christmas season. They are mason jars filled with ingredients you will need to make your favourite festive snack, whether it be hot chocolate, cookies or cakes. You will need: a mason jar, ingredients of your chosen snack and a label.
Place the ingredients into the mason jar in layers one by one. Then close the jar and add on festive decorations with a little tag telling you what's inside.

2+6. Gift Sets

One thing you cannot go wrong with at Christmas is gift sets. There are hundred of different ones to offer and a place that houses the best is Boots. The most popular gift sets that are a must for Christmas is Soap an Glory, they offer amazing deals so you can pick up your gifts for reasonable prices. They also offer a range of men's gift sets if you're struggling on what to get your Dad, Boyfriend or Brother for Christmas.

3. Scented Pouches

These pouches make a thoughtful handmade gift. You can personalise them to your family or friends preferred scent. You will need either the dried flower or the bottled scent you wish and a little pouch to place it in.
All you need to do is place your chosen scent in the pouch and tie shut with twine. If you want to add more of a homemade feel you can also personalise the outside of the pouch with stitching.

4. Lush

A place everyone seems to stop at for Christmas is Lush, whether it be for themselves or for a gift. Lush bring out a Christmas range annually, that makes the perfect seasonal gift to give someone who enjoys their baths. You can also choose from a range of gift sets available, that come with a range of their products inside.

5. Personalised Mugs

Instead of paying up to £20 on a single mug, why not make your own? You can give it a personalised touch with a message or doodles. You will need a plain porcelain mug and a sharpie in your choice of colours.
Firstly, wash the mug with warm water and leave to dry. Then draw on the design you want and place the mug into the oven for 30 minutes in the oven and wrap it up when it's done.

Are you ready for Christmas yet? What shops are you planning on hitting up this Christmas season?
