Autumnal Makeup Look

 Makeup

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer '15'
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
Mac Cool Neutrals Palette
Maybelline Colossal Go Extreme Mascara
L'oreal Volume Millions Lashes
Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Liner
Natural Collection Duo 'Mocha/Latte' (eyebrows)
Revlon Lip Butter 'Pink Truffle'
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick '107'

It isn't Autumn without getting out the darker makeup. When my favourite season rolls around my red lipsticks, plum eye shadows and liquid liner all make a return in my everyday makeup.

Plum shades are a great colour to wear on your lids if you have blue eyes because It makes them pop. My favourite to use are the two purple shades from my Mac palette, I take the shimmery shade all over my lid and add depth with the darker matte plum in my crease. As for the rest of makeup I tend to keep it pretty simple with a semi nude lip, here I'm wearing the Revlon lip butter in 'Pink Truffle' dabbed into my lips to give a more natural look. But when I am feeling a little more daring I will go all out with a bold red lip, my favourite being the Rimmel Kate Moss In '107' which is the perfect cherry red shade.

Topshop Wishlist

1. Leigh Black Ripped Jeans
2. Bib Detail Blouse
3. Brody Faux Fur Collar Boots
4. Super-soft Brushed Scarf
5. Short Sleeve Cotton Shirt
6. Cable Faux Fur Pom Pom Beanie
7. Slouchy Holdall Bag

This Topshop wishlist contains many simple yet staple pieces for the upcoming winter months. The plain white blouse for example is a wardrobe basic that everyone should own and yet surprisingly I don't? It would go perfectly under jumpers or even layered up on it's own with a chunky knit cardigan and a tartan scarf. My favourite thing about this time of year is the fashion and colours combined and the ability to layer up your favourite pieces to create one complete outfit. I sit scrolling through online shops at the latest fashion items out there as my basket totals way out of control, but it doesn't hurt to have little wishlists for yourself.

Birthday Haul

I am writing this post another year older and yet still feeling the age of a 5 year old. I had an amazing birthday and wanted to thank you all for you lovely messages you sent wishing me happy birthday! I had an amazing day, unfortunately I had school but I wasn't all bad. I thought I would talk you through some of the presents I was gifted* by friends and family, I love each and every one of them and have used most of them already.

My friends know me too well! They get everything right. I got a selection of things from candles, nail polishes, money, bath products to a huge box of full of popcorn! Now if you know me well, you may be aware of my slight obsession with Pretty Little Liars...If not you don't know what you're missing out on! One of my friends Pip got me Season 1 and 2 on DVD which I can assure I will rewatch over and over. The huge box of popcorn was from Christine, I can tell you it tastes pretty good.

Of my Mum and Dad I got yes, more candles that are the Christmas scented ones by Yankee's Simply Home range (it's never too early) and Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions range in an attempt to clear my skin. My biggest present that I was not expecting was the thing that I am writing this blogpost on...A new laptop! My previous one was over 5 years old and didn't really cooperate anymore so this was much appreciated. I got a HP with Windows 8 and Beats Audio, sorry I don't know the exact type, but it took some getting used to the new software and I'm still figuring it out.

On the Saturday I had got tickets for The Vamps Concert, so me and my friends went to see them in Liverpool and they were amazing live I cant tell you. If you ever get the chance to go and see them you definitely should.

I want to thank everyone who got me presents and even said happy birthday to me, I'm sorry this post is a little all over the place but I hope you enjoyed it all the same.

The Lace Midi

Top // Topshop
Skirt // Hollister
Shirt // Brandy Melville (no longer available)
Shoes // Steve Madden

This outfit is definitely out of my comfort zone and I owuld never usually go for something like this, as I'm scared I'll stand out. But when I first picked out this skirt I fell in love and immediately wanted to style it. So of course I picked it up and came up with this outfit, that I think is great not only for the transitioning weather but also perfect for autumn as you can layer it up as you please even though it may look like just a Summer piece.

Birthday Makeup

Makeup

Garnier BB Cream Perfector - Oil Free 'Light'
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer '15'
Maybelline Rocket Volume Express Mascara
Mac Cool Neutrals Palette
Mac Paint Pot 'Bare Study'
Soap and Glory Brow Archery 'Brownie Points'
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker 'Nudist'
Barry M Liquid Liner 'Black'

So on the 3rd of October (this Friday) I will be turning 15. If I'm honest it feels like only yesterday that I turned 14, where are the days going? On my birthday I am going to be going out for a little meal. I thought I would show you the makeup I will be wearing for it, because why not?

I wanted to go for a natural look rather than a bold one because I wanted to keep it fresh looking. I have recently got back into my trusty liquid liner which I usually loose for the Summer times, I just a apply a thin layer that is still noticeable quite close to my lash line. I wanted to wear eye shadow but still keep it natural, so I of course used the Mac palette in 'Cool Neutral' read a review here. I just a pink shimmery shade lightly all over the lid and a light taupe shade into the crease, then to brighten up my eyes I used Mac's Paint Pot in 'Bare Study' and brought it in the inner corner. I loved how it all turned out and this makeup look would be great for just day to day wear too!
