Mask of Magnaminty | First Impressions

For a girl who is currently suffering with her skin, I have tried out no end of products this month in an attempt to abide it. I resorted to a trip to Lush and picked up a selection of new products one being Mask of Magnaminty.

I had heard many good reviews about this mask and because I love a bit of Lush I thought the time had come for me to try it out. As I suffer form sensitive skin Lush is great for me as all of their products contain zero chemicals, only naturally benefitting ingredients.

When it's firstly applied it gives a cooling and invigorating feel on your skin. It is easily smoothed over and contains gentle exfoliating particles that gently move dead skin cells as you remove it. This mask calms breakouts and helps draw out impurities such as blackheads. It contains peppermint oils that help to stimulate the skin as well as freshen the skin.

After removing it my skin felt rejuvenated and fresh. My impurities were gone and my skin felt smooth and clearer. I love this mask and it is one of my favourite masks I have tried and I have tried a fair few.

A Healthy Bloomer Recipe

A healthy option that would work for any meal and takes amazing. You can switch up the toppings for anything you would prefer. In todays post I a going to show you how to prepare and avocado and tomato, it's a super easy recipe that is well balanced and will keep you going.

Ingredients

1/2 Avocado
4 Baby Tomatoes
! Slice of Wheat/Wholemeal Bloomer

Method

1. Begin by putting your bread into the toaster.
2. Once that is toasting, prepare your avocado. Slice it down the centre, twist and remove the seed. Taking one half scour  down the slice to create cubes, this makes it easier to mash. Then take a spoon and scoop out the avocado into a separate bowl.
3. Take a fork and mash the avocado until it's to the consistency you want.
4. Next slice your tomatoes into halves or quarters.
5. When the bread is toasted spread on the avocado thickly and top off with the tomatoes.
6. Add a side of your preferred fruit, mine is blueberries.

As you can see this is a such a simple recipe that anyone can do and yet it's super healthy and gives you a well balanced meal for breakfast or lunch.

My Mac Trio

I do have a makeup love for my Mac Lipsticks, and I alternate between each shade daily, often disregarding my other lipsticks. Although method to my madness all of these shades may seem similar, but I can assure you they are different.
When it comes to lipsticks finding the shades and tones that suit your complexion is essential, and that is why all my lipsticks resemble each other so kindly. I personally the shades that suit me best are my nudes, whether it be darker or pinker. With Mac lipsticks price I go for lipsticks within that zone as to not regret my spending's.
Crème Cup
This has been spoken about many a time on both this blog and many others but to me this is the best pink/nude shade I have tried and fits my complexion perfectly giving me a 'your lips but better' tone.
Peach Blossom
People say this seems almost identical to Crème Cup however I see otherwise. Personally I find Peach Blossom to be a much more opaque shade with blue undertones to Crème Cup and this is the shade I go for if I want a barely there feel.
Twig
This shade ventures slightly further out of my comfort zone, however remains in the nudes. It's a more darker tone but sticks to the pink theme. This lip shade gives a very 90's feel to a makeup look and suits a variety of complexions.
Which of your lipsticks lie within your favourites? If you couldn't already gather from this post I have grown very found of Mac lipsticks and still hope to grow my collection, venturing gradually further out of the comfort barrier.

Extrodinary Oil

Before getting my hands on this facial oil I never thought about using them. I always had these images of them making my oily skin even worse, because oil+oil=?? However since giving the L'Oreal Paris Extraordinary Facial Oil, my outlook has completely changed.

This facial oil is actually targeted at combination/oily skin so it won't add oils to your skin or doesn't leave an oily residue on the skin. I apply four drops using the pipette applicator and massage it into my skin. What I noticed with this oil is that it sinked into my skin almost right away. The next day after using the oil, my skin looked noticeably brighter also my pores appeared reduced in size and my skin felt luxuriously soft.

The Extraordinary Facial Oil says it will help refine pores and reduce their size.  It also helps to stop your skin producing excess oils that will otherwise build up on your skins surface. After using oils over a longer period of time they claim to help improve the overall look of your skin and reduce scarring from acne.

I will definitely continue to use oils into the future as I love the way they make my skin look and feel.
