Her Fashion Box

Her Fashion Box* is a monthly subscription service where you can receive makeup and fashion bits. In this months issue there was a range of goodies that I'm sure I will be using a lot.

Shoulder Pouch

This pouch with gold detailing on the clasp and along the strap. I'ts a small size that would be perfect to carry around on a night out.

Pencil Eyeliner

The black kohl eyeliner is highly pigmented and glides along your waterline and tight line easily without causing irritation. It gives the illusion you have thicker fuller lashes along your lash line.

Silk Scarf

This gorgeous silk scarf is a perfect addition to an outfit. The colours would add that pop a basic plain outfit.

Eyelash Curler

I have been on the hunt for a new eyelash curler for a while now and it's hard to find one that holds the curl without being an extortionate pricing. This particular one hold the curl you want all day and appears to make your eyes appear more open.

She Eyeshadow Trio

This baked eye shadow trio comes with 3 beautiful shades of purple that together would create the perfect purple smokey eye look.

If you enjoy your monthly subscription boxes then you should definitely try this one out. It is a perfect present for yourself to look forward to each month if you're a lover of fashion and beauty.

Ultrabland Facial Cleanser

Adding harsh chemicals to your face can often worsen your skin. A lot of chemicals can be found in everyday cleansers that tend to dry out and imbalance your skin. The Ultrabland cleanser from Lush is a facial wash containing no chemicals with all natural, non irritant ingredients.

When I'm going through a rough patch with my skin I will take out everything from my skincare routine and go to using just this and a moisturiser. Using too many products on your skin can clog your pores. This cleanser contains very little ingredients so won't cause any irritation to your skin and should help to detox it.

It is quite a thick consistency cleanser, as it is a cream based wash. It is amazing at removing your makeup as well as leaving your skin smooth and hydrated with the natural oils it has. This product would be perfect for sensitive skin and also would work with any other skin type. If you are looking for a new cleanser I recommend you try this specific one out.

Hello Winter

Even though Winter in the UK officially start until December 21st, It's is starting to feel like it already.

Winter is my favourite season for season all year, I love it getting darker earlier and being cold it means you can cozy up and have an excuse for being lazy. For the winter months I love layering fashion and experimenting with the darker clothing, if I could I would live in it all year round. But of course a reason why people love winter is that it means Christmas and holiday spirits. The whole atmosphere surrounding this time of year is amazing and makes you thankful for what you have, along with sharing those feelings with the people around you.

Mac Collection

Mac is one of my favourite high end makeup brands (being I've tried only a few) Over the months I after I purchased my first lipstick I have gathered together a small collection of products.

Mac 'All That Glitters' Eyeshadow

When it comes to wearing eyeshadows I tend to go for the neutral shades that will make my blue eyes pop. This particular shade is a gorgeous golden nude shade with an underlying shimmer. I do really enjoy the Mac eyeshadows with their formula as they aren't chalky and are highly pigmented.

Mac 'Sable' Eyeshadow

Compared to 'All That Glitters' this is a darker neutral shade. Like all Mac eyeshadows this one is also highly pigmented. Paired with 'All That Glitters' all over the lid and 'Sable' in the crease can create a perfect neutral eye look.

Mac Cool Neutrals Palette

If you couldn't tell I do like Mac eyeshadows. I have recently written a post on this palette that I picked up not too long ago but have fallen in love with. It contains a range of neutral shades including pink tones and bronze shades.

Mac 'Bare Study' Cream Eyeshadow

I had heard a lot of good things about this cream shadow before buying it. I actually found it in a discount makeup store and jumped at the chance to try it out. It's a shimmery nude shade that looks great washed all over the lid as a base and also on it's own.

Mac 'Crème Cup' Lipstick

Everyone and their mother probably owns this lipstick. It's a cult favourite for Mac lovers and I too love it. I struggle to find lip shades that suit my pale complexion. 'Crème Cup' is a nude toned pink that would go with any skin tone.

Mac 'Peach Blossom' Lipstick

Yes, this is very similar to 'Crème Cup', but trust me it is different. It is another nude toned pink shade however it is a different finish and contains a blue iridescent undertone to it. It's not as pigmented to cremesheen finishes but it is still a buildable shade.

Clinique Anti-Blemish All Over Treatment | Review

I've recently been having trouble with my skin and I have tried endless amounts of products in an attempt to help it.

I recently picked up the Clinique All Over Treatment from their Anti-Blemish Solutions range, I already own other products from this range and they seemed to help my skin so I thought of trying this out. I use it as an all over moisturiser for the night, on its own with no other products.  After a few weeks of using it I have noticed a slight improvement in my skin. All though the difference isn't major, anything counts. It reduces the redness of the spot over night and also reduces the size. Usually spot treatments tend to dry out my the problem area, however as this can be used s a moisturiser I don't have this problem.

If you are looking for an all-over spot treatment that will not dry out your skin then you should give this product a try to see if it works out for you.

A Rome Outfit

Dress // Topshop (no longer available)
Jumper // Forever 21
Jacket // River Island
Bag // Primark
Shoes // Office

It was that type of weather in Rome where it's cold in the morning but get's hot in the afternoon, which makes it really hard choosing what to wear. That is why I ended up layering up pieces and taking some layers of later in the day. I kept the outfit's I wore simple for doing touristy things like sightseeing but still stylish.

Rome in Pictures

Rome was an amazing city break that I will never forget. I love travelling to different cities and experiencing their way of life, not to mention their foods. I got to see so many sites including: The Colosseum, The Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Roman Forum and the Pantheon.
