No7 Shade and Define | Review

I firstly heard about this product as I was looking for a dupe of the By Terry Ombre Black Star and this came across my searches. The No7 Shade and Define in the shade 'Cool Mink' is a gorgeous eye shadow that when blended on the lid creates a simple smokey eye. It's a lovely taupe colour with underlying tones of shimmer. The colour would be perfect for any eye colour, but particularly make green eyes pop.

This eye shadow stick blends beautifully over the lid, creating a effortless eye look. Being long lasting also means that this will stay on your lids all day long, believe me when I say this, I swatched this in Boots and it just would not come off my hand. The only downside about this product I would say that the stick itself is quite hard and before applying onto your lid needs warming up, otherwise it ends up tugging your eyelid. Overall I love this product and it has converted me to stick products because I love how easy it all is. I can safely say that it won't be long before I purchase more of this product in all the shades I can get my hands on. I have also featured this product in a recent makeup post for April, click here.

Usually when it comes to carrying a handbag I tend to keep it quite minimal and only bring the necessary items. But when I go out for the whole day that all changes. This makeup look is very much based around the eyes. I have recently picked up this product from No7 that is a definite dupe for the By Terry Ombre Black Star, and that for a fraction of the price. I focused the look the eyes and kept it simple to give a fresh spring look. This eye product creates a beautiful shimmery look that in one sweep can create a basic smokey eye. The key to a spring look is perfecting the face and then keeping other makeup minimal. Drawing attention to your eyes will help make them appear larger by highlighting the inner corner of your eyes. Keeping your brows bold and defined helps to frame your face and for that I use a drugstore purchase of mine by natural collection.

Well the weather is well and truly on the up as of late, the cold, frosty spells of winter have left us being replaced with warm, fresh mornings. This weather means we no longer have to lug around a heavy coat on our backs but can rely more on light layering pieces for the coming warmer months. Although the weather is far from that of the tropics here in Britain it is lovely and warm, but yet I still fail to let go of my loving for winter boots. Oversized checked shirts appear in almost every outfit and they are a perfect layering piece for this time of year that can be thrown on and off when you please.

As you may be able to gather my room recently went under a re-vamp, all the pink and florals went to be replaced with mixed metal items with a more simplistic theme. I had been meaning to switch up my room for a while now and with a lick of fresh paint on the walls and some new interior pieces, I think really pulls it all together.
