The Lace Midi

Top // Topshop
Skirt // Hollister
Shirt // Brandy Melville (no longer available)
Shoes // Steve Madden

This outfit is definitely out of my comfort zone and I owuld never usually go for something like this, as I'm scared I'll stand out. But when I first picked out this skirt I fell in love and immediately wanted to style it. So of course I picked it up and came up with this outfit, that I think is great not only for the transitioning weather but also perfect for autumn as you can layer it up as you please even though it may look like just a Summer piece.

Autumn's Coming

Top // Topshop
Jeans // Topshop
Shoes // Shoe Zone*

Today from me you get a very simple, throw it on and leave outfit. As you may or may not have noticed the leaves are beginning to fall and I am well and truly in the fall mood. The slip on sneakers I'm wearing have been everywhere recently, they are a great way to add something to a very simple outfit with the mixing textures. This outfit with the dark shades is perfect for the season and is so simple you cannot go wrong.

Lace Collar and Polka Dots

Dress // New Look (similar design)
Hat // Amazon
Shoes // Schuh
Socks // Topshop

I am aware I look like a young school girl here but what can you do. This polka dot dress I have had since I was about 12 and it's making a comeback! I love the detailing on the lace collar it adds texture to a plain outfit. I don't know why but this outfit reminds me of a french girl outfit? (just me?)

Holiday Planning | An Outfit

Dress // Fashion Union
Shorts // Vintage
Shoes // Office
Belt // Vintage

It's that time of the year again where everyone's packing up their bags and heading abroad. I'm one of them people escaping the British Summer to a much warmer, sunnier climate too soon. At this moment in time my room is a tip, with clothes all over the floor and is very dis-functional. I thought as a quick post I would show you on outfit I'm thinking of taking with me on holiday, as right now my Summer consists of getting things ready and outfit planning, to try and make sure I won't over pack; even though I know I will for sure. The dress I am wearing is from Fashion Union, as it's a bit short for me I did pair it off with a pair of denim cut offs. This dress would also make a great beach cover up for over your bathing suit. So is perfect for Summer.

I hope all of you are having an amazing Summer, and if you are going away to have a great time. Thank you for reading.

The White Dress

Dress // Topshop
Shoes // Converse (diy)
Jacket // American Eagle
Socks // Topshop
Anklets // Accessorize (no longer available), Menorca
Bracelts // Black and White Boutique*, Made by myself
Rings // Clogau, Pandora

There's something about the white trend that scares me. I can never go out for dinner without managing to spill something down me, so as you can imagine wearing white can be a nightmare. However when I saw this sun dress in Topshop I instantly fell in love. I mainly got it for my holidays but since the weather has been so nice here recently, I dug it out of my wardrobe. It's a textured embroidered fabric, but is still lightweight and perfect for the warmer weather. I paired it with my lilac converse which add a pop of colour and because it's not quite as warm as the Greek weather I paired it with a denim jacket. For jewellery I have really been getting into wearing more bracelets and have been actually making my own rope ones. The bangle I am wearing is from this beautiful Black and White Boutique*, who offer a range of gorgeous jewellery pieces. The beauty of white is that it will go with anything you pair it with and will give you a classy, clean look.

Yesterday I went to see The Fault in Our Starts and I can honestly say cried for a good hour and a bit straight! but it was honestly amazing. Have any of you seen it yet? I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading.

The Denim Shirt

Top // Topshop
Jeans // Topshop
Shirt // Forever 21 (no longer available)
Shoes // Steve Madden
Bracelets // Thought Blossoms*, Autumn Jewellery* & Pandora

When it gets cooler in the Summer you don't want to be throwing on a huge coat. Which is why I have recently been loving wearing my denim shirt from Forever 21, a few years ago, with almost everything. It's a perfect alternative from a jacket in the Summer months, and goes with just about anything you pair it with. I love how this shirt is semi acid wash, so it isn't just plain and adds something extra to an outfit. I pair this shirt with simple outfits, which I have currently been living in. Here I wore some skinny black jeans and a flowy cami top, with my Steve Madden Troopa boots. As for accessories, I am wearing two gorgeous roped bracelets from the lovely Thought Blossoms*, who stock beautiful items. Also I'm wearing this other gorgeous purple rope bracelet from the lovely Autumn Jewellery* and of course my trustworthy brown rope Pandora.

Although this isn't a very Summery outfit it is appropriate for the recent British weather we've had. So I hope you enjoyed this outfit post, and thank you for reading.

A Summer Staple

Top // Topshop
Shorts // New Look
Jacket // American Eagle
Shoes // Converse
Rings // Pandora
Braclet // Clogau
Socks // Primark

The Sun appeared today after a week of miserable wet and windy weather, so I decided to wear my new favourite summer shorts. I have always found denim shorts quite uncomfortable and have recently converted to the flowy cotton shorts. I now own three different pairs, so I am all set for the Summer months. This floral pair I found at New Look are a great way to wear the floral trend, just pair it with a plain cami or tee and your set with a perfect girly summer outfit. If it gets chilly towards the evenings throw on a denim jacket, it pairs perfectly with the floral print as your not adding more busy patterns on top. This outfit keeps me cool in the hot sticky heat, but also looks cute.

I hope this gorgeous weather is here to stay now and I'm definitely looking forward to Summer now. I would love to hear your thoughts on this outfit and whether it has given you inspiration to brighten up your Summer wardrobe. Thank you for reading.

How I Style Mom Jeans

Outfit 1

Sweater // Brandy Melville (similar)
Jeans // Topshop
Boots // Doc Martens
Watch // Tesco (similar)

Outfit 2

Top // Brandy Melville (no longer available)
Flannel // Urban Outfitters
Jeans // Topshop
Converse // Office
Hat // Amazon

Outfit 3

Top // Topshop (similar)
Jeans // Topshop
Converse // Office (similar to original) (faded diy)
Scrunchie // Adorned
Watch // Tesco

I recently picked up a pair of 'Mom' jeans from Topshop. I have been eyeing them up for a while but didn't know if I could pull them off, they were definitely an impulse buy you could say. I picked them up for £40, which is a bit pricey but I know Topshop jeans fit me well and are good quality as I've owned so many pairs from there. After buying them I can now safely say that I am in love with them, I'm not 100% sure whether they actually do suit me but I still like them. A few people had been asking how I style them so I put together these three different Spring/Summer looks for these jeans as I know they can seem quite difficult to style. But you just have to balance out your top and bottom half with fitted tops or slouchy depending on the fit of your jeans and the look you are going for.

You can take inspiration from this post to create your own outfits or use the items completely. I hope you enjoyed my first 'How I Style...' post and that it helped you out. Thank you for reading.
